TISSUE BOX TUTORIAL

Hi and welcome to all my very talented friends, and visitors.
My good blog friend Sue asked if I could do a tutorial on my tissue box.
So hopefully you can understand what I have tired to do.
It takes 3 sheets of A4 card.
Sorry it's a bit picture heavy.
You start by measuring your tissue box.
Now I bought mine from Tesco Supermarket and it measures.
Just under5 inches in hieght.
Just under
4 and half inches on one side.
Just under
4 inches on the other side.
You start with 2 sheets of A4 card.
Cut 2 of them to 5 inches along the longer length.
Then score at half an inch, 4 and half inches, and 9inches  on a score board.
For the lid you cut a square just very slightly over 6 and half inches, by just slightly over 6 inches, and score
1 inch in on all sides.
When this is done don't forget to cut you aperture in the lid before glueing the corners as I have done this a few times.
Next glue both sides of the box together.
 To give you this.
This is wht it looks like when the tissue box is in it.
Add your lid, and I put glue in each corner to secure the lid to the base, and decorate how you prefer.
Here is a finished example.
I do hope you can understand my tutorial as I put it together quickly.
I use Creative Expressions PVA glue as that bonds really quickly.
Thank you so much for you visit, and time.
Lots of crafty love.  JENNY.
